  3. This document describes the terms for distributing the source code of and any
  4. derived work based on the LIBGRX graphics library. Such source code is marked
  5. with the copyright notice:

  9. Source code copyright Csaba Biegl is distributed under the following terms:

  11.  (1) The event queue library (code in the 'events' sub-directory of the
  12.      archive), the test programs for the graphics library (code in the
  13.      'test' sub-directory) is distributed without restrictions. This code
  14.      is free for use in commercial, shareware or freeware applications.

  16.  (2) The LIBGRX graphics library is distributed under the terms of the
  17.      GNU GPL (General Public License) with the following amendments:
  18.  
  19.      a) If an application derived from the library is distributed under the
  20.     terms of the GNU GPL then the author(s) of the application can use the
  21.     graphics library according to the terms of the GNU GPL.
  22.  
  23.      b) If an application derived from the library is distributed free of
  24.     charge in executable format only, then the LIBGRX library can be used
  25.     free of charge. However, the author(s) of the application should
  26.     include information about the fact that the LIBGRX library was used
  27.     to create the application. Additionally, the program must be
  28.     accompanied with information as to where the source code of the
  29.     library may be obtained.

  31.      c) If an application derived from the library is distributed in
  32.     executable format only for a fee (this includes shareware applications
  33.     as well) then a one-time license fee of $100 must be paid to

  36.      d) If none of the above terms is acceptable, contact me for special
  37.     arrangements.

  54.      terms in the file "COPYING.MIT". Most of the fonts included with the
  55.      LIBGRX library were derived from fonts in the MIT X11R4 distribution.
  56.      The exception is the "pc" BIOS font family, which is distributed
  57.      without restrictions.

  59.  (6) The 8514/A graphics driver and some 8514/A specific low-level library
  60.      library functions were derived from code published in "Graphics
  61.      Programming for the 8514/A" by Jake Richter and Bud Smith.

  67. "Derived application" is defined as an application linked with any module
  68. from the LIBGRX graphics library.
